Streamlined Staffing Opportunities

A Perfusionist is a healthcare professional that provides services to manage blood transfusion services. Perfusionists are in high demand since there are only about 3,200 licensed Perfusionists in the nation. PerfusionLife, an established Perfusionist staffing agency who works with a quarter of the nationwide Perfusionists, contacted Lithios to create a two-sided marketplace mobile application to connect Perfusionists to travel work opportunities.

The Challenge

Perfusion Life was an established company when they came to Lithios for assistance, but they were facing a multitude of challenges. Their process was bottlenecked, they lacked an easy process for uploading and managing documents, clients were paying late, and they didn’t have an ability for customers to submit requests directly. Ultimately, Perfusion Life wanted to be able to easily track Perfusionists competencies and certifications for a more streamlined job-placement process.

Why Lithios?

Through this engagement we designed and developed iOS, Android, and Web applications for perfusionists to find and schedule work engagements. PerfusionLife collaborated with Lithios to streamline the process for Perfusionists to receive these assignments and to begin scheduling opportunities.
